The final medals were settled in the Decathlon Evening 10 Series by Wrekinsport as Tomos Hales retained his Series Championship from first year member Oli Freeman as both ended the season on Road Bikes. Hales still managed to finish third on the night in 22 minutes 47 seconds, with Phil Roberts taking the honours of the promoting club in 22:35 and visiting rider Mike Senior taking the win in an impressive 22:16 on the tight Long Lane circuit. Hales won the Road Bike event on the night with all the medals already settled; with Freeman runner-up on 23:30 in that category, but only 6^th Overall seeing Hales end the Decathlon Series with a four point advantage. Roberts consolidated his Bronze medal position won in the previous round.

In the Women’s Series Hayley Wells was left rueing how close she got to Hales with a fabulous 22:51 for 4^th Overall ahead of an 18-strong field with just a four second disadvantage. Wells was 10 seconds behind after 2½ miles, put in a superb second lap to be one second up after 6¼ miles, but Hales finished strongly to pull back five seconds. Wells’ nearest challenger was Victoria Doran, finishing in 31:44 and doing enough to take the Female Bronze by a solitary point, with Deb Hutson-Lumb earning the Silver.
